Bio

Who is Mr. Limbis? Mr. Limbis is a composite character culled from three unique and dynamic Philadelphia musicians. Initially the brainchild of Doug Lewis; a unique vocalist and guitar player well versed in the ways of Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Television, the Stooges and other vitally important names in rock and roll history. He enlisted the help of bassist Adam Gray; who brought his Geezer Butler influenced style and love of all things loud and seventies; and drummer Dan McVeigh; a schooled drummer with slightly more progressive leanings; to educate their fellow Philadelphian's on the fundamentals of rock; by embracing it's glorious past to create a glorious future.

Mr. Limbis' debut record (Betty Jane Records) was recorded live in the studio, over three days in Williamsburg, NY & Quogue, NY and is slated for release in Winter 2006. The band is currently booking shows in the mid-atlantic region, and will be looking to tour nationally in the near future. So sit down children, all eyes forward, and be prepared to be schooled by Mr. Limbis.
